-calories shed off dayy
12:27 AM went to the gym today with my sis. stayed there for bout 2hr20min` did quite alot as compared to normal days.haha. my normal daily exercise is to sit infront of the tv`BRAINPOWER! running, stretching blahh blahh run and stretch again bet my muscles will ache soon I AM OLD tsk tsk` after that,we went across the street to grab some stuff to eat! i didnt know seveneleven is such a great place to find nice food` maybe we are too hunggryy! my lunch` chicken mayo sandwich+ a quarter cup of mashed potato+ marigold yoghurt`yumyum! my sis's lunch` tuna and cheese pizza(small one)+ three quarter cup of mashed potato i wonder why my sis go to the gym when she's eating stuff like those ??? hmmm.i missing sgh lots! dunno why?! even in my dream, i end up in a hospital! this maybe some post work shadowing syndrome`haha i am thinking too much! arrghh. nov will be over soon and i still have stacks of hol assignment to do! cannnot carry on slacking, must WORK HARD! 28 days to x'mas! waiting for my santa claus`HOHOHO Sunday, November 26, 2006

9:15 PM todayy basically is a boring day.slept for round eleven hrs!maybe i am too used to sleeping lesser hours for the past five dayys so think i'll need some time to resume back to my 15hrs sleep` newayy, decided to post some pics on my blog!hope it will add some life to this blog! (:  the cast that i had been eyeing for  these are the special 'nailclippers'`
podiatry clinic or a dental clinic?` somehow they look the same to me haha. these are the only pics i had taken during work shadowing. the rest are with mary but she has yet to send me those` my sis wants me to put upp a photo of the two of us`so there they are

-work shadowing final dayy-
9:18 PM today is the last dayy of work shadowing`arrghh i am actually feeling happy and sad at the same time. happy- cos i can finally resume my 15hrs of sleep while sad is cos we wouldn't be able to see the guys anymore!haha. Since it is the last day, me and marilyn grabbed the opportunity to take lotsa of pics. Actually, we didn't really take much pics cos today we only shadow two of the podiatrists!two of the guys went to bangkok while another(our eye candy of the week) went to another clinic`what a waste! we thought that we could spend the afternoon shadowing him and we were soooooo disappointed not being able to see him on the last dayy! it was another boring morning. me and marilyn actually finished our work shadowing report while we are at sgh`spent ytd and today to complete the 1000 words report! one of the podiatrists helped us with the report, think he had contributed like 500 words lorr!millions of thanks to torin-you had made our life easier! :) After finishing the report, we used his com to read ppl's blogs, play neopets, and my favourite-watch youtube! during the lunch time, we spent three quarter of the break to design the card for the four australian podiatrists.haha.marilyn was damn cute-she was actually feeling nervous while thinking of what to write to our eye candy of the week!And that girl actually left her cam behind!luckily, she remembered and we found it before it lands on other ppl's hands`phew! we had been awaiting for the afternoon but our hopes are destroyed when we were told that rob will not be in diabetes center on friday!immediately, our heart sank.. but then, we were so luckky to observe a nail surgery-think this was the most "enriching" stuff in this week! the surgery was relatively short, bout 2o min like that! initially we thought that it will be yucky cos the pod must cut,twist and do alot of stuff to remove the ingrown nail!however, it was actually a simple and 'not that scary' surgery!so interesting` ohh ya, besides the pod, ther are two pod assistants-i call them auntie nanjun and auntie beevi! me and marilyn are like their assistants cos we hepled to pick up the pod's calls when they are MIA.they are very amiable ppl and we had fun taking pictures with them!i will miss them` in order to show our or rather our school's appreciation, a SAINTS cup was prepared beforehand.one cup vs 5 podiatrists-abit ridiculous!therfore, me and marilyn bought a card for the four guys`we asked torin to keep it a secret!i hope he will rmb!he gave his contact`just in case we need help from him in the future-he just so NICE! it's a pity that we didn't get to take pics with all of them, esp rob!marilyn actually had everything planned out- 1)take pics 2)say euu wanna send them the pic 3)euu will then get their email add!`haha.she only wants rob's one!-that's so smart! newayy, she alredy got his email add`secretly took down his add while he's not in the clinic!haha overall, work shadowing is actually quite beneficial though it's bit boring`maybe five days are abit too long. through it, i am starting to consider to take up podiatry in uni! -work shadowing dayy three-
9:30 PM wanted to blog ytd night but ended up sleeping`thanks to the terrible headache i had newayy, ytd was quite a slack day for me and marilyn!all we did were some stock keeping and playing with the podiatrists' com`yupp and of course trying to understand and crapp with the guys!haha. todayy was bout the same as ytd.actually i bet the five dayys spent in sgh would be somehow the same-seeing different kinds of foot probs,learning the different types of dressings, walking round sgh, stoning and giggling with marilyn when we see somebody! haha. lessons learnt today: one)medical ind may not be as great as euu had expected`try considering others like finance,manufacturing,engineering two)ways to distinguish lesbians! three)pod are proffesional liar`not i say one arr.quoted from one of the guys-the one who kept catching me lying! the guys were great!one of them treated us snacks,anothe one showed us great lunching areas in sgh..they are really nice people!think i will miss shadowing them after friday!they taught us alot alot of stuff (though i doubt that i will rmb any) and guided us on making our career choices! sooo, days in this week will be revolving around the pod department in sgh!so yupp.nothing really much to update about! -i am starting to lurve podiatry`i am not joking! work shadowing`dayy one
9:17 PM woke upp early in the morning at SIX!can you belive this?!no choice,first dayy of work shadowing(WS) musn't be late. leave the hse at SEVEN, took the bus round seven.05 and met marilyn`my ws partner cum classmate at EIGHT!haha on the bus, ther was an irritatating guy kept whistling. err, that's not the worst! when the bus was reaching the terminal (sgh), he started singing and stamping round!arrghh,pls lahh!think himself as some SUPERSTAR`*puke*dunn think he can even pass the audition round for pss`-damn pissed went round and round outram mrt station to look for marilyn` cos' she was at the EW line while i was at NEL haha, conclusion- outram mrt station is wayy larger than dolby ghaut!! newayy, back to WS` haha.we were very EARLYY!but we reported to the wrong block! kana cheated by our cher-in charge-it is blk ONE not FIVE! however, we were much too earlyy to be late! our mentor in charge showed us round the rehab centre and we met the podiatrists! woahh` they are all AUSTRALIANS! initially was kind of intimidated by them- they got a strong accent,haha, and i cant really speak gd english you see!furthermore, me and marilyn were attached to different podiatrists`arrghh so awkward however, the podiatrists are all nice and friendly ppl and it was a great experience to SHADOW them! marilyn was totally in love with her mentor-of-the-dayy cos' he's such a CUTIE! <3 seen lotsa different cases todayy`some were really yuckky learnt lotsa stuff today!and ME decided not to pursue pharmacy!whyy?! haha. heard from my mentor its not really that interesting. would rather consider podiatry cos SPORE is short of podiatrists-sounds 'profitable' to be one!but then,you can only pursue podiatry in UK,australia-give upp `gets homesick easily on my way home,i slept like a log-too tired le! the cold weather is driving me to bed soon, think i am going to be sick soon-stomach feels kinda weird. today is only the first day of the five days WS! haha. newayy, pss season two had started! ther's a cool and shuai guy though he's bit of pai kia pai kia one. support` daren tan! |
